The Elite Pro Hairstyling Course is an excellent complement to any makeup course in a fun and exciting environment with weekly hands-on opportunities to learn the teachings with personal training and guidance from an industry-working professional. Created by award-winning industry educator and former hairdresser Justine Poniris to equip students with the skills they need to enter and succeed in the hair styling industry.

 

COURSE DURATION:  70 hours in total

Option 1:         10-week course, one day a week (weekends)

Option 2:         10-week course, one day a week (Wednesdays)

Option 3:         5 week express course, two days a week (Monday & Tuesday)

HAIR TOOLS, PRODUCTS AND BRUSHES: 

– All styling products are provided including Paul Mitchell products, brushes and combs.

– Long Hair Mannequins must be purchased separately as they are not included in the course price, you can purchase through the academy for $195.00

– Hot tools such as Hair Dryers and Curling tongs these are not supplied as a part of the hair course, students are required to bring their own hot tools each week of the hair course.

– If required, we sell professional hair dryers f0r $265  and H2D Styling Tongs for $215 (retail value is $299).

 

COURSE CURRICULUM:

MODULE 1 AND 2:

• Product Knowledge
• Hair prep for all hairstyles
• Analysing the hair
• Basic blow waving
• Learn how to shampoo hair

MODULE 3 AND 4:

• All about curls
• Beach waves, Period / Vintage style Waves & Hollywood waves
• ½ up and ½ down styles

MODULE 5:

• Design different braiding styles

MODULE 6:

• Incorporating braids into hairstyles; messy buns for parties, races and special events
• Quick Upstyles
• Quick Curls

MODULE 7 AND 8 :

• Formal bridal styles for wedding and red-carpet events
• Learn to make your own hair padding

MODULE 9:

• Sleek styles
• Modern ponytails, smooth buns
• Modern French rolls

MODULE 10:

• Quick editorial hairstyles for backstage fashion
• Clip-in hair extensions
• Veils and hair pieces
• Students to bring in a photo of a hairstyle they would like to do

 

 

COURSE FEES & PAYMENT PLANS:

TOTAL COURSE FEE:    $1,850

          

A $400 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required to secure your course enrolment.

PAYMENT PLAN OPTIONS FOR COURSE BALANCE:

OPTION 1 – Pay the balance of the course on week one of your course.

OPTION 2 – Pay via four weekly instalments across weeks 1 to 4 of your course.

All payments are deducted on Mondays. Payment plans are by CREDIT CARD ONLY. Once the course commences no refunds will be issued on monies paid.
